Yesterday we sampled their roast and let me tell you it lived up to the hype from the in-laws. Everything was absolutely spot on, the beef and turkey was cooked to perfection and the roasts were some of the best roasts I've ever had, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The veg platter was amazing as well, great selection. Gutted I couldn't finish it all but Chloe was kind enough to box it up for me as I didn't want to waste a thing. Service was delightful as even though they were clearly busy Chloe came and chatted to us a few times and made us feel very welcome. Definitely our new favourite roast spot.
Sunday lunch ..... excellent quality food , excellent customer service. Thank you this will be a regular lunch stop going forward.
First time we've had Sunday lunch here and definitely not the last. Beautiful meat, hot tasty vegetables and plenty of it. Including roast parsnips and potatoes. A big Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese. Very welcoming and attentive hosts as well. Loved the interior of the pub. Diolch yn fawr iawn, Rylan a Sian.
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
Nearest first, then across the Rio Grande Valley.
